2 Identification and coding

(b) Non-special use cosmetics need to have a sanitary license documentation number, the coding rules are divided into two, one of which is: National Makeup Preparedness Year J + 4 digits + 4-5 digits and the other is: National Makeup Network Preparedness Year + provincial abbreviation + 4 digits Year + 6 digits.

Cosmetics that are not subject to national sanitary licenses or records shall submit the following materials:
(a) Product safety commitments
(b) the documentation of the marketing license or proof of origin of the country or territory of production.

4 Requirements for Packaging
(a) For the sale of packaged cosmetics, in addition to meeting the first three items, the Chinese label samples, foreign language labels and their translations must be submitted.
(b) Cosmetic products that are not sold in packaging must be provided with product details.

Chinese Label Regulations
Chinese labels for imported cosmetics should strictly follow relevant national standards and regulations, which should include basic information such as product names, ingredients, net content.

When importing cosmetics that contain endangered or protected animal and plant raw materials, should process the relevant certificates and licenses.There are five special situations, however, in which the goods are not considered endangered species and therefore are not subject to specific regulations.
