According to the U.S. Federal Notice of October 12, 2023, the FDA officially issued the Notice 2023-22649 announcing the entry into force of its new edition of the Imported Food Pre-Notification Guide (Edition 4). This new guide contains some key updates worthy of attention from all importers and related industry individuals. First, even if the FDA has recognized a country’s food regulatory system with the U.S. Food Regulation Authority (FDA).
Japan launches safety regulations for imported foods, covering several categories

Japan recently issued a series of safety regulations for imported foods, involving several categories, the following are the relevant regulations: (1) Japan lifted the import inspection measures on China producing edible seafood Japans Ministry of Health and Labor on March 22, 2023 issued Notice No. 0322 No. 1, repealed the import inspection measures indicated in the notification in the Annex, in which, lifted the import inspection measures for China.
